Build enduring
businesses with us.

We are always keen to meet talented professionals who want to do more than allocate capital, people who want to roll up their sleeves, work alongside driven founders and management teams, and help build companies that last. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

Operational

Hands-on, not hands-off

We don't just write cheques. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with management teams on hiring, technology, expansion and operations. You'll learn how businesses actually work, from the factory floor to the boardroom.

Entrepreneurial

Ownership from day one

We're a lean, founder-led firm. There's no hiding behind layers of hierarchy, every member of the team takes real responsibility, sees the full deal lifecycle, and has a direct impact on outcomes.

Long-term

Legacies, not flips

We back heritage businesses and hold them for the long run. Our work is measured in years of transformation, not quarters of financial engineering. We build things meant to last.

We are currently hiring for the two roles below. We always welcome spontaneous applications — see below.

Operations Associate

3-4 days/week, Europe

About the role

As our first Operations Associate, you will be Tioopo Capital's right hand in the field. Reporting directly to the Operating Partner, you will work alongside the leadership teams of our portfolio companies to drive operational performance, from cost and process diagnostics to lean transformation and post-acquisition integration.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the factory floor as much as the boardroom, with direct exposure to the full portfolio. Expect to travel 3 to 4 days a week across Europe (France, Belgium, the United Kingdom).

Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio company leadership on key operational topics: performance diagnostics (costs, processes, organisation), improvement plans (lean management, industrial optimisation, supply chain), digital transformation and operational excellence.
  • Define operational KPIs and run regular performance reviews with management teams.
  • Analyse and model data to identify growth, efficiency and EBITDA levers.
  • Lead cross-functional projects: post-acquisition integration, restructurings, new product and market launches.
  • Act as the ongoing link between Tioopo Capital and portfolio company leadership.
  • Write strategic notes and present actionable recommendations to executive committees.

Education

  • An engineering degree (Centrale, Mines, Ponts, Arts et Métiers...) or a business degree (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP...) from a leading institution.
  • A dual engineering and management background is a plus.

Experience

  • At least 3 years in performance improvement in industrial settings (strategy or operations consulting, industrial management, supply chain).
  • Proven field experience: you have led optimisation projects in plants, logistics or operations support.
  • Knowledge of lean / six sigma methodologies appreciated.

Key skills

  • Synthesis: the ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable conclusions.
  • Analytical: strong command of analysis tools (advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL) and complex scenario modelling.
  • Leadership: able to rally and guide teams towards shared objectives.
  • Operational: a taste for the field, quickly at home in varied industrial environments (glass, mechanical, food processing...).
  • Interpersonal: at ease with executives and shop-floor teams alike, with the pedagogy to drive change.
  • Autonomous and proactive: comfortable running projects with limited supervision.
  • Languages: fluent French and English required (meetings and documents in English).

Soft skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you enjoy challenges and fast-moving environments.
  • Resilience under pressure: comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Intellectual curiosity: eager to learn across varied sectors and ramp up quickly.

What we offer

  • Immediate impact: full visibility across the portfolio and real responsibility from day one, as the team's first Operations Associate.
  • Variety: operational challenges across industry, business services and B2C, with no two weeks alike.
  • Accelerated learning: direct work with the Operating Partner and exposure to the fund's strategic decisions.
  • Competitive package (base salary + bonus linked to portfolio performance).
  • Based in Paris or London, with frequent travel across Europe.

About the role

As an Investment Analyst Intern at Tioopo Capital, you will sit at the heart of our investment process, from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities to supporting our portfolio companies through their growth journeys. You will work directly with the founders and senior team across the full deal lifecycle, gaining exposure rarely available at larger funds.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable building a financial model as they are visiting a factory floor and discussing operations with a CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation and modelling (LBO, DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses) for prospective acquisitions.
  • Support due diligence processes (commercial, financial, operational), coordinating with external advisors and management teams.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the investment committee.
  • Source and screen new investment opportunities in niche industrial and service sectors across France and the UK.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance, build reporting frameworks, and support operational initiatives alongside our Operating Partners.
  • Conduct sector and market research to inform investment theses and identify buy-and-build opportunities.

Who we're looking for

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, with a placement, internship or first experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services or strategy consulting a strong plus.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in operations and value creation, not just financial structuring.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity in a lean team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and French.
  • A degree in finance, engineering, business or a related discipline from a leading institution.
  • Willingness to travel between Paris, London and portfolio company sites.

What we offer

  • Direct exposure to the full investment lifecycle and to the founders of the firm.
  • A steep learning curve across deal execution, operations and portfolio management.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where your contribution is visible and valued.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience.
